Call for this one if you have need. I will answer.

the room provided for technic is surprisingly roomy (if a bit dim), well-ventilated through cracks in the walls and lit by torchlight. there's a bed tucked against the right wall, neatly made, with a spare Amalthea uniform folded atop the covers. a laundry basket made of woven reed and a small steel bin for trash have been placed at the foot, beside a chest that's presumably for personal effects. directly across from the room's entrance is a cupboard built into the wall itself that contains fresh fruit, bread, and tinned meat; beneath it is an open stone "box" filled with not only ice, but flasks of water and milk.
there's also a second thatch door off to the left, which splits further into two paths; one going to a private restroom (a comfortable chamberpot with soft cloths for toilet paper) and the other to a self-contained hot springs bath. fluffy towels hang from racks built into the wall, while soap and shampoo await usage in an alcove situated above the water.
really, it's almost as though waldemar is supremely invested in being a good host.]
[It's simple, but it's private, it's quiet, and it gives him the sole comfort of knowing, as he bonelessly drops himself to the floor next to the bed, that he doesn't need to worry about anyone intruding or poking or prodding. Right now, it's just him. Him and his raw mix of anger, fear, and exhaustion, taking shuddering breaths, digging fingers into his hair and letting himself, for just one evening, fall apart in privacy.
[It's after a loooong soak in that tub and a practically sleepless night when Technic finally emerges, cautious as he looks for Waldemar. He's in the bare basics of his uniform - no armor, no leather trimmings - looking less ghostly than he had the previous evening.]
[sitting by the only other exit from his mountain lair, gazing out at the endless expanse of clouds and mist that conceals the earth below from all eyes]
When I first arrived here, I was gifted with a jewelry box. The key for that box was misplaced not that long ago - I'm not sure if it was stolen or if I was the one who lost it.
Aah, regardless... I would like to quest for a replacement key.
[the sound of jingling coins fills your head once more, and then....a small silver platter appears, bearing a pair of chocolate cupcakes with white frosting and a fat cherry.]
Give these to two people that you value, in some manner, and have them eat it. Then, ask them what dream they would pursue above all others.

Good morning.
Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
'Tis so, yes.
[a yawn that exposes fangs, although the rest of him doesn't move]
Were your chambers to your liking?
Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
You're very hospitable to your guests.

Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
I'm honored to be under your care, then, sir.

I know you said you have energy to spare.
But if you're willing, I have an item I need to recover.
Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
....your appreciation is welcomed.
[shifts weight a bit, talons scraping quietly against the rock floor]
Ah, of course. What do you desire?

Aah, regardless... I would like to quest for a replacement key.
Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
That shall be a simple matter.

Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
That sounds simple enough.
...
I know it might sound strange. But could I ask why? Why you chose that question, I mean.
Re: 2/2 Day 70, morning
Curiosity. There are as many opinions in this world as there are breaths taken. I wish to hear them.
Such questions are often part of this one's quests. Only whim determines their flavor.
