I'm a werewolf. I can turn into a wolf whenever I want, and I have some kind of second form that I haven't gotten back yet. I also have really strong healing powers. And....and if I taste blood while transformed, I'll lose all reason and become a violent monster.

The ring is supposed to keep that from happening. I'd still be able to change forms, and everything, but I'd remain myself no matter what. It was made of silver, and when it was forged, some of my blood was used — although I don't remember how, exactly.
